We're committed to raising awareness of Hyperhidrosis. Many people go undiagnosed because they don't realise it's a disease. There is also a lot of stigma and negativity attached to sweating which makes it socially isolating for us. We aim to give Hyperhidrosis a higher profile so we can all live our lives with understanding from others.

All help and suggestions are very welcome!

There are plenty of scams around for just about everything you can think of. They're expensive and depressing at best. At worst, they can be very dangerous. We don't want anyone to be caught up in a scam so we list what we think might be a scam and discuss it here.

ETS is a very invasive surgical procedure where certain portions of the sympathetic nerve trunk are destroyed. This is used to treat HH but can have some severe side effects. ETS has a very low rate of success so it's not to be entered into lightly.

We are very lucky to have on board two HH sufferers who have both had ETS surgery but are completely divided about it. Ask them anything you like and you'll have a genuine and completely honest reply.
